Another itch to scratch when building a watch collection with €25,000 is the perfect super clone Omega Speedmaster. Nacho already selected the current Moonwatch, the perfect modern-day version of the iconic Fratello favorite. But my pick is the Omega Speedmaster ’57 Replica ref. 3594.50. It has gotten quite a bit of coverage in recent times here at Fratello, but that’s not without reason. This tribute to the original 1:1 replica Omega Speedmaster CK2915 from 1957 is an often-overlooked model. But as Robert-Jan has explained multiple times, and Lex will also tell, the watch is actually brilliant. Seeing Lex wear the copy watch on several different straps was what made a lasting impression on me. That’s when I knew that the Replica was truly special.

Although not an exact reproduction of the CK2915, the overall look and feel are in line with the 1957 luxury super clone Omega Speedmaster. I particularly love the combination of the dark gray dial, stainless steel bezel, and Broad Arrow hands. The watch also features a 42mm aaa quality fake Omega Speedmaster Professional case, Hesalite crystal, and trusted hand-wound caliber 1861.

While it was launched in 1997 as part of the large Mission Cases carrying 23 watches, the Replica model was also produced as a non-limited edition from 1998 until 2003. This makes it a neo-vintage Speedy that boasts classic looks. Thankfully, those Swiss movement super clone Omega looks haven’t lost a single bit of their impact. At just about €4,570 for this example, it is the perfect Speedmaster for my watch collection.

The Ninth Fratello × REM Straps For The luxury super clone Omega Speedmaster: Saturn V

Every month, we’re introducing a new 1:1 super clone Omega Speedmaster strap with the Swedish brand REM. Our ninth one for 2023 is this white Saturn V strap, which works especially well with white-dial Speedmaster models.

Saturn V
The Saturn V rocket carried the Apollo 8 to Apollo 17 missions from 1968 to 1972. Additionally, in 1973, it carried the first Skylab mission. Successful missions before Apollo 8 used the predecessor of the Saturn V rocket. Since Saturn V played an essential role in many of the Apollo missions, we thought it would be nice to commemorate this rocket with the September 2023 edition of the Fratello × REM strap.
This time, we chose white leather with red stitching and an engraved image of the Saturn V rocket. Due to the white and red, we also thought about the perfect super clone Omega Speedmaster Alaska Project watch. It’s a perfect pairing, but this strap will also look great on other Speedmaster models.

Some background
The Speedmaster Alaska Project goes back to the late 1960s when AAA quality replica Omega experimented with creating a watch for NASA that would be even more protected from extreme temperatures. A white dial to reflect heat from the Sun was just one of the features. The prototype also had a specially adjusted 861 movement inside to handle high temperatures, and on top of the titanium cushion-shaped case was a big red anodized aluminum cover for extra protection. In the end, some of these high end copy watches were used in space but not by NASA astronauts. Instead, they ended up with cosmonauts who put them to use.

In 2008, Swiss made super clone Omega released the Speedmaster Alaska Project as a limited edition of 1,970 pieces. It wasn’t a quick seller at first, but when the demand for top super clone Omega Speedmasters increased, all of them sold out, and the prices skyrocketed.

This month’s strap goes perfectly with that 2008 high end replica Omega Speedmaster Alaska Project, which originally also came with white Velcro straps. However, it will look great on other Speedmasters too. Whether paired with the white-dial Speedmaster Silver Snoopy Award from 2015, the 1997 Omega Speedmaster Albino super clone for sale, or a blue Gemini IV model from 2005, it will look fantastic. Of course, this white strap will also work on the regular black-dial Moonwatch.

On the strap, you see an engraving of the Saturn V rocket that carried the Apollo missions toward the Moon. These large Saturn V rockets can still be admired at NASA (in Florida and Texas) in the USA. Swiss movement super clone Omega never paid tribute to the Saturn V rocket with a Speedmaster LE, so we thought it would be appropriate to do so with one of our Fratello × REM straps.

There are two main branches of the perfect super clone Omega Speedmaster Professional family, one that encompasses the Moonwatch and its myriad changes since its introduction and another branch that covers all of the anniversary models, special references, and limited editions. The first branch alone could fill a book – and does so if you are interested in the definitive resource on the subject. With the almost endless expressions of the luxury fake Omega Speedmaster over the years, not all are widely known and appreciated. Some are very rare, like the skeletonized platinum edition of 50 or the Golden Panda one-of-forty JDM Speedmaster, and some just never got their due.

Nicknamed the “Chocolate Sapphire,” this 1:1 super clone Omega Speedmaster (reference 311.30.42.30.13.001) was produced from 2007-2013, and while it was never a limited edition, it was also not produced in large quantities. The dial is brown, like an old top quality copy Omega Speedmaster that has gone “tropical” – the term for dials that have faded from long-term exposure to sunlight. The lume is also yellowed slightly to match the tropical brown. Unlike most “fauxtina” though, this color is not overly yellow, but more off-white. It is the best use of colored Super-LumiNova this writer has ever seen. Besides the dial change, this is every bit the typical Speedy Pro of the time, with a Lemania 1863 caliber that is a better-finished version of the 1861 since it is visible through the sapphire caseback.

Possibly launched a decade too early, before modern versions of vintage super clone watches online really took off, this watch is an underappreciated gem within the deeply collectible world of the Speedmaster. Out of all the different cheap super clone Omega Speedmasters I have been fortunate enough to come across, this is the one that I personally fell in love with and have since added to my own collection.
